Natural light can help you sleep
For the study researchers monitored 500 students and their sleep habits. The data show that students were getting about the same total amount of sleep each night every season, but during the winter months students fell asleep and woke up later. This happens because there is less daylight and it’s cloudy outside. On average, they went to sleep 35 minutes later than usual. According to researchers, students stayed up late because they didn’t get enough exposure to natural light. Other researchers found out that each additional hour of daytime light was linked to improved circadian rhythms.
I think it’s true in my case and I can see this pattern in my everyday life. During winter moths I tend to stay up over a hour and a half more than usual but I still wake up at the usual time.
