Nurse strike in UK
Nurses took strike action for a second time this year and we can expect more coming next year. The Royal College of Nurses says its members should have a 19% pay rise. They rejected a offer off 7,5% rise, which is small comparing to over 11% inflation. The strike mostly affect patients that don’t need urgent care and the routine care patients. But how much money earns average nurse in UK? The starting salary for a nurse is England is just over £27,000 a year, A nurse with four years' experience could earn close to £33,000 and specialist nurses can make up to £47,000. It can’t be argued that they deserve a rise. With that amount of work and years of training and practice they should earn more. They are essential to keep the citizens healthy and safe. source: https://www.bbc.com/news/health-63561305
