Coffee can reduce the risk of dying?
New study shows correlations between drinking coffee and living a longer life. Group of 500 thousand participants (ages 40 to 68) was divided into smaller groups based on how much coffee they drink or what type of coffee they drink. People that drinking around 2-3 cups of ground coffee a day have 27% lower chance of dying from any cause or suffering for cardiovascular disease. Instant coffee reduce that risk 11% and other types of coffee had similar effect. This study don’t show if caffeine is responsible for that. It could be a different substance in coffee that we don’t know about.
Personally I think drinking coffee don’t have such amazing effects on our health. Mabey it was just a coincidence. One of positive aspects can be raising blood pressure, maybe that caused better results on that study. I don’t think people should force themselves to drink coffee to live “longer lives”.

Absolutely! But on the other hand, there have been a lot of studies showing beneficial effects of tea and coffee on various aspects of our health. So if we don't overuse them, at least we know that we can safely drink a few cups a day and not feel guilty about it.
