Ultra-processed food vs. our health
Ultra-processed food are more than half daily consumed calories for most of us. It’s so concerning because this type of food can cause many health complications. Not only this type of food have bad nutritional value but new studies show that they increase the risk of cancer or even death. Poor diet increase inflammation which leads to higher risk of chronic diseases. For me it’s so terrifying to see how terrible processed food are for our bodies. Seeing it everywhere – in ads, in shops, hearing how great it taste make you us forget about the horrific side effects. This article definitely made me rethink my food choices and how I view highly processed food – I always knew it was bad but I never stopped to think how it can affect my healthy in a long run.
